It’s a funny thing, hope.

The path ahead is one that will take us through political chaos and the loss of so many more lives.
Hope seems almost quaint and naïve.

But, still, it is there.

The end of so many terrible things is coming into focus closer with the passage of each day. And, although we know there are hard times going forward, hope is feeling just a little bit less foolish.

That’s the thing about hope. It is irrational while we are in the maelstrom. But it’s the one thing that helps us get through the storm and to the point where it justifies itself.
